Linda will show you how to develop your free motion quilting skills with your sewing machine. Machine must be able to lower feed dogs for this class. Please check with us to make sure your machine will work if your not sure. Supply list will be given when class is confirmed with enrollment.

Quilt School - Lesson 3 -Flying geese

This is a block you will see in many places. We will be using it to making the Sawtooth Block. Skills you will Learn: Learn how to make the flying geese block and keep your points aligned and where they should be!

There are many, many ways to make this blocks. Skills you will learn: How to square your block and we will talk about how versatile this block really is! Your world of quilting will open up when you learn how to get your points in the corner to line up like a dream!

Quilt School - Class A is for Assembly

In the Quilt School series, Class A will cover how to join our blocks together. We will discuss how to add sashing, cornerstones and borders to our blocks.

Quilt school- Class B: Becoming a Quilt

We learn about taking your completed quilt top and it stitching together using batting and backing fabric. Skills you will learn: how to mark and stitch your layers together.

This Session is covers on how to "square" your project and add binding after the quilting has been completed, The last step of love we give our projects!

Our Class Policy at My Material Matters

Classes are declared an official "Go" when the minimum number of students are enrolled. A supply list will be given to each student at this time. Payment for classes must be made for you to be official enrolled.
Any class with "homework" will be noted in class description. If homework is not completed, it is up to the student to schedule a make-up one on one with the instructor at $20.00 an hour to complete the project.
Each student will receive a 10% discount on class supplies purchased at My Material Matters.
Cancellations are refunded if My Material Matters cancels the class. No Refunds or substitutions are made when you cannot make a class you have signed up and paid for.
